The only place a study can be created is within the desktop application. This is because the desktop application is the centralized location that connects all the mobile applications together, synchronizing them and ensuring it has the latest information at all times after a scan.
Locate the Menu bar at the topleft of the Studies Screen, ensure you are on the Studied screen as the submenu content changes based on which screen you're on
Click the Create Study button on the navigation menu
In order to create the study, fill out the Study Creation Overlay that pops up when you create New Study.
The end date is the date the study will be over. This is a symbolic date for the researchers to keep track of their progress and has no functional behaviour on researchers abilitity to use the application past the date.
The name of the study being created, it should be unique from the existing studied on the desktop application.
An informative short description outlining the objectives of the study and important general details about the study. This exists for the purposes of informing new researchers about the study and also acting as a reminder of the studies purpose for the existing researchers.
Once you submit the Study Creation form, you should see the study in the lists of studied, after which you can sync it with your mobile device to view it on the Wildlife Portal Mobile application.
